1. Silverstein Live in Manila
The year begins with an old school rock and roll concert of the Canadian emo mainstays – Silverstein! The band will celebrate its ultimate 20-year anniversary show with the Filipinos this January where they can witness live performances of its latest album – Discovering the Waterfront… plus other hit songs! Indeed, what a great way to kick off the year!

Who needs Valentine’s date when you can get Boyce Avenue to serenade you? Hearts and hugot will come pouring down like rain on a Valentine weekend performance of the acoustic trio on February 16 next year. The indie music fave December Avenue and I Belong to the Zoo are also set to open the show.
It can be recalled that Boyce Avenue first swept the Filipino fans off their feet during their 2018 concert with Moira dela Torre. As Rappler would say it, “The boyce are back!”

5. Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival 2020
In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival will grace La Mesa Ecopark in a concert for a cause this 2020. Artists announced include Mike Love, Jesus Molina Quartet, Uncomfortable Science, Brigada, Project Yazz, and Talata ni Tala. Expect to see more names in the coming days! Ten percent (10%) of the proceeds from this concert will be donated to the ABS-CBN Foundation.

7. Pulp Summer Slam XX: Judgement Day
The highly-anticipated grand heavy metal festival, Pulp Summer Slam 2020, is all set to bring the beasts out in Manila! Packed with several genre icons, the concert’s powerful line-up did not come to play. Of course, there’s the heavy metal gods, Iron Raiden, who will headline the festival! It will be the first time that the band will set foot in the country and Filipino metalheads are more than lucky to experience its “most extravagant” and grandest production so far – the Legacy of the Beast Tour! 8. Slipknot: We Are Not Your Kind World Tour
Maggots, be ready for some wild screams as Slipknot is set to perform this March 2020 live at the Amoranto Stadium, Quezon City! This will be the first-ever concert of the American metal band in the country, following its canceled show in Manila over 15 years ago. The supposed Philippine debut in 2004 was dropped due to security reasons. But hopes of Filipino maggots were instantly revived as soon as Slipknot announced its “We Are Not Your Kind World Tour” on its website.
