Sennheiser, one of the best brands in the professional sound system industry, is bound to make its debut in the world of consumer speakers this 2018. At the recent CES event, the company has shown a prototype soundbar that is targeted to launch before the year ends. This is a first for Sennheiser, as for the past years, it has focused on loudspeakers.
Sennheiser’s First Consumer Speaker
During the event, the speakers are already working although the prototype’s body was not yet completed. And based on the demo conducted by a representative from Sennheiser, the company’s first soundbar is bound to set a higher standard in the market as it sounded much better than the available consumer speakers today.
Sennheiser plans to make the soundbar available through its Ambeo brand. The consumer speaker is designed to produce 360-degree audio. The company promises that the soundbar can create a virtual 5.1.4 sound as it boasts of some of the features that made this speaker, a thing to watch out for. The chunky soundbar includes 13 drivers, 6 four-inch woofers, 5 tweeters, and 2 top-firing speakers.
While Sennheiser hasn’t announced its pricing, as well as its release date, consumers can expect another outstanding product from the company who gave us high-quality speakers, headphones and other professional sound requirements.
